WarningSum:...Hot Weather Returns To Interior Northern California For The
Next Several Days...

Warning Message:High pressure building over the area will continue to bring a
period of hot weather to interior northern California. Well above
normal temperatures are expected weather on Thursday and Friday.
The heat will peak on Thursday...when the Central Valley will see
high temperatures above 100 degrees in many locations. High
temperatures on Friday are forecast to be similar or a degree or
two lower than Thursday.
Overnight lows in the valley will be mild through the period with
mainly 60s and 70s. Temperatures in the foothills and mountains
will also be well above average for the next several days.
The hot weather will be short-lived as a cooling trend is
expected for the Labor Day weekend and into next week. Saturday
temperatures will still be above normal...but Sunday and Labor
Day will be well below average as a cooler airmass moves in.
